Rome: Museum di Roma

Not every sightseeing experience is a winner.  Unlike many of the wonderful city museums we have experienced traveling the Museum di Roma does not delve into the history of the city at all.  Of course much of the ancient history is known but there is much more to Rome than that.  The museum is filled with 2nd and 3rd rate paintings and not much else that we could discern.  The best part of it was the location.  It stands at the end of the Piazza Navona and there are glorious views of the Piazza from the upper floors.
